ADAM ON EARTH

I am son of Adam. Scientists call me Homo Sapien Sapien. This does not help me. Science is cellular. It tells me about all of my Parts but does not address Me as a Whole. My Requirements are my Desires, and my Limitations are my Wish-lists. These Lists are changing in Time; as some materialize other Lists appear. What Powers including Time are operating on Me? If these Powers are Laws then an Entity has designed and is running them. In other words there are a couple of questions in my sub-conscious I never asked; now painfully needing to be asked. Who am I to Him? What is expected of me by Him? He answers. I am Domesticating sons of Adam. Have I not Empowered them to Domesticate Vegetables and Animals; and themselves?
We are Empowered to See our Evolution {Creation}, in Science – from Start to Finish – as evidence in Earth. Very soon. We are nearly there. This is like seeing Him {The Entity} through the Intellect. Reviewing the Timeline of the World, again and again, what do we see surviving and developing? The Complexity of the leading Life forms is increasing. Brain of the leading Life forms is getting bigger and more complex, through successive Species. In other words the Brain and hence the DNA is Evolving. There is a continuity in Time. You can see the Past, in the DNA and Brain of the Present.
Also visible are the Sudden changes in Quality of ways of living. From Bacteria to Fishes, to Amphibians to Mammals, and to Man the Hominid. Finally to the last current Genus called Adamson or Homo Sapien Sapien. This Genus is said in science to have started fifty thousand years ago. The oldest Fossil skull of our ancestor is in France and is dated forty thousand years old. Other evidence about the advanced empowerment of our species over the past ones is the advanced Tools being found near these fossils. We see rapid development in these tools in Time, as opposed with the past species. Then the sudden explosion in Population 10 Thousand years ago, due to Settled Life instead of Hunting Gathering. This is possible due to our Domesticating Vegetables and Animals to form Agriculture as a Civilization. Then we see a rapid evolution in Civilisations, one technically better than the other. This Man and his Civilisation is getting more powerful in Earth, until now he is considering one Global Culture.
Brain in Evolution.
If we visualize cause of Evolution as an Invisible Force, we can see its effect in Time as its footprints. It produced the first Life form called Bacteria, from nothing. It then gave them procreation through self Replicating. Then new Species were brought into Creation from these Bacteria. Looking at these you see the debris of the old DNA of bacteria being added on, to produce the new species as its successor. We see a sudden appearance of a new species, yet we cannot see how it was produced from the old using laws of cause and effect that we know of. Then the immense variety and prolific numbers of creations, all indicating in appearance a relationship to each other in Time, like a Tree structure, its Base being the Bacteria.
Looking at the Brains of the most Intelligent Present Life forms, there is no comparison in size and structure between the Man’s and the rest. The Neuroscientists are saying that a Prehistoric Brain is still lurking beneath our newly acquired higher brain functions. They claim many of the higher centers most recently acquired in our brains communicate with each other, via the prehistoric lower ones.
Scientists are making a serious mistake by visualizing the brain in evolution as a single entity, trying through trial and error (survival of the fittest) to further its survival. If this were a fact then what explains the advancement of Man in his Capabilities and his Civilisation. When we can see many old Species still surviving. Brain is the Operand. Evolution as an Entity is the Operator.
The Human Brain has many parts, and each has a specific function. Each of our brains is unique and is ever changing and is sensitive to its environment. Its modules are interdependent and interactive, and their functions are not totally fixed. This system is so complex, that it may never succeed in comprehending itself, yet it continues to try. The Brain is divided into two parts, the left and the right side. Each part has an upper brain which is the modern brain, beneath it a lower brain called the Mammalian brain; beneath this the lowest brain called the Reptilian brain. The lower two types form the sub conscious. The Mammalian brain controls the Emotions along with many appetites and urges that help us behave to survive. Fear is generated here. The Reptilian brain is 500 million years old, and is more like the entire brain of the present day reptiles. This brain controls the level of alertness and regulates vegetative processes of the body such as breathing and heartbeat.
The Human Brain has more Cells than the known Universe has Stars. It is a Neuron charged electric brain and is the most complex object in the Universe. We are capable of using only 10% of its capacity. For instance we know that more connections among the brain’s estimated hundred Billion neurons mean a better functioning brain. We know that neurotransmitters are related to good nutritional health. A single neuron connects to thousands of other neurons through points of microscopic gaps separating them called synapses. Hundred different types of neurotransmitters travel between neurons. This network of neurons underlies our perception of the World. These connections come from Inherited growth patterns and in response to outer stimuli including internal stimuli like imagined sensations.
There is coming up a new science called Evolutionary Psychology. Among its five principles the most important is the understanding that the modern brain case houses a Stone Age mind. It means that our mind’s circuitry is designed to deal with day-to-day problems posed to our ancestors leading a hunter /gatherer life. Another premise in this theory is that all Humans share certain views and assumptions about the nature of the world and human action, by virtue of evolved universal internal cognitive programs. Concepts such as friendship and beauty are not cultural inventions. An example of internalized creative nature is the appearance of “Hand Paintings”, around the World 20,000, years ago. These Ancient people who produced similar paintings were thousands of miles apart and had not communicated. Similarly we can say that Writing and Reading is a similar example. Man seems to achieve various things at their fixed Time, all over the Globe.
There is evidence that the Brain is Re-Wired before birth so that the person is programmed or empowered to adapt into the civilization he is born into. Professor Robert Williams conducted a Study in 1992 on a 20,000 years old Species of wildcat the direct ascendant of the domestic cat. A fluke of nature allowed living fossil Felis Silvestris to have survived unchanged for last 20,000 years. The Biological process uncovered in the study showed both species of cats had the same amount of brain cells as fetuses. But there was a selective process that killed off different sets of neurons before birth. This resulted in each cat’s brain being better adapted to fit its environment.
The second mistake science is making is to visualize Civilisation and Culture as products of the Brain. The first one was to visualize Evolution as History of Brain’s self-development. Which Brain’s? There are many of them. Evolution is one Entity and has a Force and a Direction. Evolutionary History in Time (Time-line) is not Evolution. Evolution’s products are Man, his Mind and his Civilisation. This way many difficulties like, missing link between species, survival of the fittest, criteria of choice to be favored, and the Destiny of Man, which are confounding Science are solved.
Michael Gazzaniga, a neuroscientist and author of “The Minds Past”, says, “Brains are not built to Read. Reading is a recent invention of Human Culture-----our brains have no dedicated place to this new Invention”. Neuroscientist and author Leonard Schlain takes this concept a step further and says, “the process of reading itself fundamentally rewired the human brain with profound consequences for culture history and religion”. So Evolution empowers man in two ways. One is innate through Brain at birth, and its example is Speech. The other is as if “Taught”, its examples being Art, Writing, Religion and Civilisation.
Understanding Evolution through the Words of Quran.
We have now some understanding of the current scientific knowledge of facts, and its theories regarding our Evolution. Let us seek help from Quran to see if we can improve on this. The methodology we will follow is that we will take selected words from Quran; and write down their meanings from the Dictionary, as well as from their usage in Quran. Then selecting appropriate Ayah we will lay them down in such order that we get understanding about Evolution.
1.Past Evolution.
Words
1. Yak Shaia. = Nothing.
2. Badi. = Origin.
3. Yabdu. = Originate.
4. Nishaat. = New form of Life.
Ayah.
1. Has there not been over Insaan a long Period of Time (Dahr) when he was nothing (Yak Shaia) not even mentioned. S.76.A.1.
2. But does not Insaan call to mind that we created him before of nothing (Yak Shaia). S.19.A.67.
3. See they not how Allah Originates (Yabdi) Creation, then Repeats (Yoeedohu) it, truly that is easy for Allah. S.29.A19.
4. Say, travel through the Earth and see how Allah did Originate (Bada) Creation, so will Allah produce Last, and/or Next, New Creation (Nishaat), for Allah has power over all things. S.29.A20.
5. He who has made everything which He has created most good, He began (Bada) the creation of Insaan with Clay (Teen). S.32.A7.
Conclusions:-
1. The very first life cell form was created out of nothing, i.e. there was nothing before the first cell. Building Material was Teen (Clay).
2. As is evidenced by science, there is a very long Time between above and the advent of Man. Is he Insaan yet?
3. Insaan’s Creation existed as a purpose in this long period starting from nothing.
4. He Originates (Yabdi) New Creation, then repeats it through sperm lineage i.e. He creates new Species or Genus, and then creates its procreation through sperm lineage.
5. He has Destined Us to find in Earth the Origin of our Creation, and is informing us that similarly a New form of Creation will replace Us on Earth; and Us as a New Creation somewhere else.

5. Bashar. = Living Human Being.
6. Insaan. = Domesticated, feeling, seeing being.
7. Jaalna. = Endowed through Genes.
8. Teen. = Clay.
9. Salsal,/ Salsalat. = Essence of Clay.

Ayah.
6. We Created Insaan from sounding clay (Salsal), from mud moulded (Hama Masnoon) into shape. S.15.A26.
7. (Iblis) Said I am not one to Prostrate myself to Bashara whom thou did create from sounding clay (salsal) from mud moulded (Hama Masnoon) into shape. S15.A33.
8. It is He who has created Bashar from water, then has He Endowed (Jaala) Relationship of Lineage and Marriage, for thy Lord has Power.
S25.A54.
9. Oh thou Insaan verily you are toiling on towards your Lord,--Painfully Toiling – but thou shall meet Him. S84.A6.
10. The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam, He created from Dust (Turab) and then said to him “Be”, and he was. S3.A59.
Conclusions cont:-
6. After creating single cell life form from clay, they multiplied without sex and hence they all had same Gene Pool in them i.e. little variety.
7. Then He made them complex by Endowing them with sex.
8. He makes a new Species or Genus from an old through Dust (Turab), and saying “be” i.e. His Will (Izn).
9. Thus the Evolutionary history though looking like a tree yet we do not see gradual changes because of the above method of bringing in a New Couple from the old Genus. Jesus SS, was fatherless through ‘Dust and order Be’. As his Genus was the same as that of his mother, an Egg was Created in her complete as if fertilized. But for Adam to be a first of a new Genus, an egg with new DNA was created complete in an old type mother, to produce a new Genus different to the mother carrying him. Today an embryo of a deer implanted in a cow produces a deer.

2. Ilm. = Knowledge.
3. Allamaa. = Teaching, like Names, Pen, Quran, Bayan.
4. Fatalaqa. = Learning from Lord words of inspiration.
5. Attahu. = Gives, like Power, Hikmah.
6. Jaalna. = Producing qualities through Evolution, Genes.
7. Be Izn. = With Allah’s Will; acting through men’s endeavor.
8. Afadata. = Sense of Intelligence and Affection leading to Thanks.
9. Bayan. = Discourse, communicate comprehension, Explanation.
Ayah.
1. And He taught (Allamaa) Adam the Names of All Things, and then He placed Them before the Angels and said, “Tell me the Names of These if you are right”. S.2.A.31.
2. Then Learnt (Fatalaqa) Adam from his Lord words of Inspiration and his Lord turned towards him.; for He is Oft Returning Oft Merciful. S.2.A.37.
3. Allah did choose Adam and Noah , the family of Abraham, and the family of Imran above all People. S.3.A33.
4. It is He who brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers when you knew nothing, and He gave (Jaal) you Hearing, and Sight, and Intelligence Affection (Afadata); that you may give thanks to Allah. S.16.A78.
5. And we had firmly Established (Makanna) them in a Power which We have not given to you, and we had Endowed (Jaalna) them with faculties of Hearing, Seeing and Heart, Intellect (Afadata); but of no profit to them were their faculties of Hearing, Sight, and Afada when they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah; and they were (completely) encircled by that which they used to mock at. S46.A.26.
6. He who taught (Allamaa) by the Pen. S.96.A.4.
7. Nun. By the Pen and by the (Record) which men write. S.68.A.1.
8. Ar-Rahman (The Most Gracious); Has Taught (Allamul) Quran; (by); Created Insaan; Taught (Allamul) him Bayan (comprehension analysis speech). S.55.A.1-4.
9. By Allah’s Will (Be Izne) they routed them and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave (Atahu) him Power and Wisdom (Hikmah) and taught (Allamahu) him whatever He Willed. And did not Allah check one set of People by means of another the Earth would be indeed full of mischief, but Allah is full of bounty to all the Worlds. S.2.A.251.
10. If thou pronounce the Word aloud (it is no matter); for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is more hidden. S.20.A.7.
Conclusions.
1. The Purpose of Evolution is to produce from Bashara, a worldly living being; an Insaan, a domesticated towards Allah, seeing, feeling being; through the Genetic Award (Jaalna) of Hearing, Seeing and Afadata.
2. Through Teaching (Allama) of Names of all Things, and Learning ability (Fatalaqa) He made Adam’s Brain the finest of His Creation.
3. He chose Adam as New Creation from the previous, and propagated his progeny. This clears the confusion in science about the “Natural Selection”.
4. He Taught (Allamaa) instead of Endowed (Jaalna) the latter Adam Progeny, Writing and Discourse (ability to explain and theorize).
5. He Runs the present civilization by correcting one set of People by another through His Will. He Grants (Atahu) Power and Wisdom to a set of People or Individuals through Evolution (cause and effect)and Teaches what He Wills. That is He is driving the civilization towards His Target.
6. In the science of Paleontology, we see a Tree like structure in the Evolution chart of creation. This is because He uses the previous Genes and adds and modifies them to produce the next creature. This effect can be seen in the Brain of the present man. Man has three distinct brains. The Top is the foremost and major brain controlling the highest attributes of man. The lower brain is called the Mammalian brain, and it controls the feelings etc. The lowest is the Reptilian brain, identical to the present reptiles. This controls breathing, heartbeat, etc. These last two brains are in the sub conscious. Man communicates everything through this lowest brain. Hence the Ayat 10 above S.20.A.7. informs us of this.
7. The difficulty of the missing links between species in the Theory of Evolution is cleared by the example of the birth of Adam. He then was born of a previous Genus mother without a father. Eve was his sibling. It takes two to procreate sexually a new Genus.
The Purpose in Evolution.
So far we have understood the Why and How of the Evolutionary Timeline. Let us recapitulate:-
1. Starting out of nothing, He produced the first Life form as Bacteria.
2. He then introduces Sexual reproduction in Life form.
3. From these He started bringing out New type of life forms called new species. These have a relationship with their previous in that the DNA and the Brains are added over to those of the previous.
4. The New Species is brought out from the old through fatherless birth from an old type mother, and through Dust and the Command “BE”.
5. Complexity and Quality of Life form increases till Hominids are produced, culminating in the most complex, which are Us.
6. The present Bashar and Insaan have the quality of brain that can tackle the nature of all things. This is more than speech, the quality present in the previous Hominid, and Inherent in us from birth.
7. He taught Insaan the Bayan, the ability to communicate comprehension.
So what are the hidden Purposes for The Creation of Life forms on Earth, which are not apparent in the Timeline? Obviously the Qualities of the Latest Creation Evolved would be that Purpose. Quran shows the potential of our brain is to understand all things. Yet Science shows killing of neurons before birth to produce brains de-tuned to run at 10% of its potential. What else as a civilization and as an Individual?
So first we need to peg down Adam as a Person; and as the First of the latest Creation about 50,000 years ago.
Then we need to address the Qualities and also Potential of Adam; and as well as of Us. This should tell us the Meaning Who are We to Him?
Then viewing how this relationship has traveled through History till today will tell us if there has been any Evolution in this relationship.
Finally What does He want from us? Obviously the Qualities evolved are the products He has already achieved. So at least He wants us to use them. Then there is this Potential that He talks about in the Quran, which is not apparent in Evolution. Its usefulness to an individual, and how Exercising his Qualities of Afadata he can achieve it. This I call the Individual’s Evolution. So let us continue.
1.Vicegerent on Earth, Blowing of Ruh, Prostrating of Angels.
Ayah:-
1. Behold thy Lord said to the Angels “I will create a Vicegerent on Earth”. They said “Wilt thou place there in one who will make mischief therein and shed blood? Whilst we do celebrate Thy praise glorify Thy holy name”? He said “I know what you know not”. S.Baqarah.2. A.30.
2. And Behold we said to the Angels. “Bow down to Adam” and they bowed down not so Iblis he refused and was haughty he was of those who reject faith. S.Baqarah.2. A.34.
3. Oh David we did indeed make thee a Vicegerent on Earth so judge thou between men in Truth, nor follow thou thy lusts of the heart, for they will mislead you from the path of Allah: for those who wander astray from the path of Allah is a penalty grievous for that they forget the day of account.
S.Saad.38. A.26.
4. And recall when thy Rabb said to the Angels, I am about to create Bashar from ringing clay of loam molded.
5. When I have fashioned him and breathed {Nafakhato} into him of my spirit {Min Ruhe hi} fall ye down in obeisance unto him.
S.Hijr.15.A.28-29.
Thus becoming Insaan from Bashar.
6. Who has made everything good which He has created. And He originated the creation of Insaan from clay.
7. Then He made his progeny from an extract of mean water.
8. But He fashioned him in due proportions and breathed {Nafakha} into him something of His spirit {Min Ruhe hi}. And He gave {Jaala} you Hearing and Sight and feeling {Afaadata} little thanks do you give.

9. Raised high above Ranks (He is) the Lord of the Throne, by His command does He send the Spirit {Al Ruhe min Amr}, to any of His servants He pleases, that it may warn (men) of the Mutual Meeting. {Yom Al tallaq}.
S.Gafir.40. A.15.
Conclusions:-
1. It seems Adam is the first to be given the potential of names of all things, and the first Vicegerent on Earth. Also from inference he had the Ruhe blown into him, so that he deserved to be bowed to by the Angels. This Potential of names was when he was in the Garden.
2. Iblis became an adversary due to his status of Vicegerent.
3. It looks that among the progeny of Adam, all Insaan i.e. domesticated Bashars, have this Ruhe blown into them.
4. There are more than one type of Ruhe being talked here. First this is the ordinary Min Ruhe hi, blown into insaan domesticated by Allah. Then there is this Al Ruhe Al Qudus, the holy spirit sent to Jesus Christ S.S. Then there is this Al Ruhe Al Amin, the spirit sent to Mohammad Rasul Allah S.S. Also the warning Ruh to men called Al Ruhe min Amr.
5. It looks that at least all Prophets can be called Vicegerents on Earth.
2.Adam in Present and Previous Creation.
Ayah:-
1. Allah did choose Adam and Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of Imran above all people. S.Imran.3. A.33.
2. Offspring one of the other, and Allah heareth and knoweth all things.
S.Imran 3. A.34.
3. Those were some of the Prophets on whom Allah did bestow His grace, of the posterity of Adam, and of those whom we carried (In the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel, of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the signs of {Allah} most gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears.
S.Maryam.19.A58.
4. Recite to them the Truth of the story of the two sons of Adam. Behold they each presented a sacrifice (to Allah): it was accepted from one, but not from the other. Said the latter “Be sure I will slay thee”. “Surely” said the former, “Allah does accept of the sacrifice of those who are Righteous”.
S.Al-Maidah.5. A.27.
5. O ye children of Adam We have bestowed raiment {Libasa} upon you to cover your shame, as well as to be an adornment to you. But the raiment {Libasa} of righteousness is the best. Such are among the signs of Allah, that they may receive admonition. S.Al-Araaf.7. A.26.
6. O children of Adam wear your beautiful apparel {Zeenatakum} at every time and place of prayer, eat and drink, but waste not by excess, for Allah loveth not the wasters. S.Al-Araaf.7. A.31.
7. We have honoured the sons of Adam, provided them with transport on land and sea, given them for sustenance things good and pure, and conferred on them special favours, above a great part of our Creation.
S.Bani-Israel.17. A.70.
8. Then did Satan make them slip and get them out of the state in which they had been. We said get you all down all with enmity between yourselves. On Earth will be your dwelling and your means of livelihood for a time.
S.Baqarah.2. A.36.
9. We said get ye down all from here and if as is sure there comes to you guidance from Me, whosoever follows My guidance on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. S.Baqarah.2. A.38.
Conclusions:-
1. It proves that Adam is a Person and the first in line of Prophets, and others are from his progeny. As his name’s meaning also indicates as the first or next life. With his full potential of names in his abode in the Garden, we can safely say Adam is the first of the new species Homo Sapien Sapien. A product of fatherless birth as shown earlier.
2. In the Ayat no: 3 above the progeny of the family of Imran is missing because of the raising of Jesus Christ S.S. leaving no progeny.
3. The covering of Righteousness as a Libas {Dress} is a beautiful simile. The guilt in the Garden removed this Libas, causing our Fall.
4. We can see in the fossil tools evidence of our having sown clothing from nearly our advent. Earlier Hominids do not show this.
5. The Power of Domesticating Vegetables and Animals seems to be the reason that we could produce civilizations.
6. As Writing became more common we see in Human Religion, an Evolution along with the Man, culminating in Quran where you can see here Allah speaking plainly across the march of Time, guiding where Intellect {Science} fails.
7. In the past we see holy men like Sufis specializing in Perceptual Knowledge, gaining unbelievable knowledge through perceptions, like mysticism. This dried up in the last 200 years, and the Science marched on.
8. Now we are in the Period of Taqdir {Destiny} where gains towards Allah can happen through Tafakur in search of Creation Laws in Earth. This is Conceptual Knowledge like science. As predicted by Rasul Allah, in this Period Islam would become visible from invisible through Conceptual Knowledge.
9. We still have that weakness of Adam. A confidence trickster promising good future always succeeds.
10. Guidance is easy through Quran and Evolution in this Period. A cast Iron Guarantee.
Say thou, “This is my way: I do invite onto Allah – on Evidence as clear as the Seeing with one’s eyes – I and whoever follows me. Glory to Allah! And never will I join gods with Allah”. S.Yusuf.12. A.108.
3. The Purpose in the Creation of Insaan.
We have learnt up till now that Adam unlike his predecessors had a link with Allah directly through His Ruhe, He had breathed into him. Also that this is true for among his progeny of domesticated Bashars called Insaan. This is a high status and I do not believe all among us attain to this. This is because there is in this world an individual’s evolution of becoming Insaan. Here Allah teaches those desirous of meeting/seeing Him in this world, through His Al- Ruhe min Amr, as stated in Quran earlier. So we can say Insaan is a Product; and hence a purpose for the Creation on Earth.
There is a higher purpose than of Insaan. That is the Vicegerent on Earth. But before we deal with this subject let us lay down a couple of Ayah signifying the scope of Insaan.
And He has made subject to you the Sun and the Moon both diligently pursuing their courses, and the Night and the Day has He (also) made subject to you. S.14.Abraham. A.33.
And He has subjected to you, as from Him, all that is in the Heavens and the Earth, behold! In them are signs (evidence) indeed for People who Think and Research (Tafakur). S.45.Al-Jathia. A.13.
We can see the importance of Insaan to Allah Taallah, that He has made the Cosmos our Subject. Also note that in our Individual’s Evolution towards Him here; He is guiding us to seek Him in these Subjects contained in Heavens and Earth, and Night and Day,-- through Tafakur.( Meditation )
The subject of Vicegerent needs to be understood critically, if we want to understand the destiny of Adamsons. We are dealt by Allah as a “Group” and as “Individuals”. The performance of an Individual depends upon his inherent individual quality, operating under an environment called civilization made by Him through this Group. Hence the ultimate was produced through Evolution in Time in successive stages. What is this ultimate Creation? Vicegerents on Earth. Because of whom Iblis became doomed; Along with the Reject of Quality-- from the mass production of Bashars. Insaan being the People of His Right Hand; and Vicegerents being the People of His Near (Qurba).
Let us look up our hang-ups, which limit our understanding of Reality and the Vicegerents on Earth.
1. This office or status implies some level of Power given by Allah to that Person on Earth, like an “office bearer of a Government”. Allah is Al-Ruler of Rulers, or Judge of Judges.
“Is not Allah the Judge of Judges”? S.95.Al-Teen. A.8.
This is supported in the Ayat previously quoted S.38.Saad. A.26. Where Allah is saying to David SS, that he is the Vicegerent on Earth and that he should judge between men in Truth.
2. Allah always arranges all changes in creatures through other creatures. This arranging is invisible, and we call it chance. Only planning and launching action are the capabilities of the creatures. Results are not in their hands. –But do they believe this? What happens when we find a pattern in this ‘chance’ business? We promptly look for a Law, and not a Personality. Although it is producing Us Personalities in this Evolution.
3. The Command is to obey Allah, Rasul Allah and uul ul amr.
“O Ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you ( Uul ul Amr ). If you differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you do believe in Allah and the last day: that is best and most suitable for final determination”.
S.4.Nisa. A.59.
Now these Uul al Amr are the vicegerents on Earth who are charged to lead men on the lines of Allah and His messenger.
4. The following four points may explain the status of a Vicegerent on Earth:-
a. Allah made Adam, the first of us and the first Vicegerent and the first Rasul; by His Hands. Does this not mean Evolution? When no indication of this process in others i.e. Angels and Jinns. There are two kinds of Evolution we are talking about. First is the creation of a New Genus with new Qualities through Jaalna. Then there is the Personal Evolution of various Individuals through Allamul i.e. Teaching. In both it looks like He is using His Hands to lead the Way down these Roads of Evolution. He therefore calls this personal evolution as Road or Way ( Sirat ) of Mustaqeem; and His Hands as Handiwork on which He paterned ( Fitrat ) man.
{Allah} said: “O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with My Two Hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones? S.38.Saad. A.75.
So set thou thy face towards the Law of Inwardness, Allah’s handiwork on which He paterned mankind, no change in this creation of Allah, this is the law of Qaeema but most among mankind Understand not.
S.30.ArRum.A.30.
“I put my trust in Allah, my Rabb and your Rabb; there is not a moving creature but He has grasp of his forelock. Verily my Rabb is on the Road of Mustaqeem.” S.11.Hud. A.56.
So when you ask Him ( inside, in your mind, in your prayer)to lead you on this Road of Mustaqeem in Surat Fateha, you will find Him there. But we do not know our Potential.
b. Allah made Adam in His own Image. Hadis Qudsi.
c. Allah breathed into Adam Ruhe from Himself. Quran.
d. Allah taught Adam the Names of all things. Quran.
The Western Civilisation starting 1500 AD, switched its belief from a Divine Personality controlling everything; to Man having Divinity and hence controlling his destiny. They were given Science, seeing everything as impersonal Laws. This produced dichotomy, in that impersonal laws under Man’s control cannot control Man’s Evolution, as he does not know his Future. So it looks that it is the destiny of this Civilisation, to see through the power of its own science, the Real Power controlling its Evolution.
