Publishers Note (Publisher of the book Beyond Belief)

Javid Zafar Qureshi was born in a Muslim family of Lahore settled in Hyderabad Deccan, where his father Professor Muzafer-ud-Din was the Chief Scientist. Hearing this Allama Iqbal who was a close family friend wrote asking the professor to name his son Javid, saying “ one will be your javid and one will be my javid”. This close relationship had started when Allama as a young man joined the Intellectual’s group at Khalifa Manzil, called the “Chelsea of Lahore” the house of Mr. Qureshi’s grand father Khalifa Nizam-ud-Din, at Bhaati Gate Lahore. His maternal great grand father was KB.Sheikh Ghulam Sadiq who was a member to Shimla delegation of 1906, consequently founder member of the Muslim League. This book is a continuation of a lineage in a family of thinkers in Islam and Science, and struggle for the recognition of Muslims of India.

Mr. Qureshi was educated at Government College Lahore. He joined Pakistan Navy and graduated from Royal Naval College, UK in 1960.He later did his specialization in Electronics and Computers from UK, and brought the first computer to Pakistan in 1967. He was chief engineer for Bank of Credit and Commerce in UK, where he designed the Branches and Communication Networks. He is holder of various Patents for Inventions and awards for design innovations in computers.

His Sufi tendencies started surfacing in Lahore in 1986, when he joined various Sufi circles. Reading this book one can call him a Sufi Scientist, as this is the Matter under discussion. No matter what opinion one may hold about the book, what is loud and clear is the Intensity of search for “the Truth”. I believe the readers will find this book stimulating. It should be read with complete “Faraghat” – a requisite of a Muslim.

I must point out at this juncture that calculations regarding the dates may be wrong. Only Allah knows the exact dates and events. But what is to be noted in all is that Allah from the invisible casts signs or shadows in this visible world, to make it easier for Man to believe in Him. We on our part should not take these signs as exact in this world; for a man to be exact will mean Allah is not Allah. Only Allah is exact. We only live in Uncertainty and Hope.

A Message From The Site Admin(Author)

The foundation for this work really started in 1993 in London, when I felt that there was a need for a booklet in English, of the Predictions of Rasool Allah, Mohammad, Salle Ala Alaihe wa Sallim. For about ten years before this I was going through a disastrous time of my life; and then it looked that I would never be in a happy position ever in my life. To achieve this work I had to go through the Ahadith; and sought the help of my close friends Mr. Aziz Khawaja, Mr. Salim Al Din Quraishi, and Dr. Abdul Ghaffar. To them I owe a great debt of gratitude.

It is difficult to describe the state of ones heart and mind under pain, but I subsequently discovered that if one submits to Allah the Great, and ascribe everything to him as the only source of everything befalling you and acknowledge him as your Mawla; then slowly everything starts to get ordained and you see changes in the World around you and in yourself. As I continued to collect the relevant Ahadith, when suddenly, He changed my direction. The word “Yaum” became fixed in my mind. It would not go even during sleep. Reluctantly I left my original Intention and started going to a Reference Library. After few days of Reading the book “Chronology of World History”, the first inkling of the pattern in the world history started appearing in my mind. I noticed the seven Events in Jerusalem as a pattern in Time, and in the Law of cause and effects. The relevant Ayats and Ahadith flashed immediately in my mind. Thus started unfolding the Picture hidden in the History of Man.

Nearly the whole Picture completed in a few months. I need to add here that this was not due to hard work. I felt that Nature was conspiring to feed me the relevant Information. It was dramatic. It would often happen that when at a particular juncture I would stop to grope for further Information to extend the Picture, instantly, either through a letter, or a newspaper lying around or through a Radio Broadcast, the answer would be given to me in an instant. To highlight this effect I would like to give the following as an example. Once I could not sleep all night due to the worry that I may have gone Irrational. I was convinced that this Periodicity in history was an Illusion; as I was not of the caliber to find such a discovery. This work could not be True. But as it looked so irrefutable, I became distressed at my Madness. I did not know how to cure myself. I kept pacing the floor and thinking. In utter fatigue at 5 A.M. I picked up one of the books by Shaikh Abdul Qadir Gilani. I opened it at random and there written was this, “ Rasool Allah says that every man is created for a special purpose. When he starts working on it , then everything is made easy for him.”

While visiting Lala Ji of Golra Sharif at end of 1993; after listening to all what I had to say, he asked me to write what had been given me. Consequently my first book Titled “ Beyond Belief” came into being in 1994. I hope I have done justice to what knowledge I have. I am not a good writer, and find the subject difficult to deal with. But I no longer get surprised at the result. Fifty percent of the readers swear by it, and the other fifty swear against it. Nice to know that this world will never change in this aspect.
